As the general contractor, the company is responsible for the construction of the project. According to the project company, the focus is particularly on quality, adherence to deadlines and a smooth construction process. Dreßler Bau has already been working with CTR on demanding new-build projects for many years.
Dreßler Bau was founded in 1913 and is now managed as a fourth-generation family business. Over the decades, the company has developed from a regional masonry contractor into a construction company operating throughout Germany, with six locations and around 600 employees. One of its offices is located in Dresden.
The company focuses primarily on turnkey building construction. Its services include residential, commercial and industrial buildings, as well as construction within existing structures and the renovation of historically significant buildings.
Several specialist disciplines come together at FröbelHöfe. A3 Architekten developed the architectural design of the residential buildings, while Noack Landscape Architects are responsible for the outdoor spaces. As the general contractor, Dreßler Bau manages the construction of the project.
The company therefore forms the link between the planning specifications and their implementation on site. The various construction services and trades must be coordinated and integrated into a shared construction schedule.
This coordination is particularly important for an ensemble of eight individually designed residential buildings. Different building sizes, façade designs, floor plans and technical requirements all have to be implemented as part of one coherent project.
