Construction work at FröbelHöfe is progressing simultaneously across several areas. While the interior fit-out has already reached the next building, preparations for the future green roofs are underway. There has also been significant progress on the site of the project’s second construction phase.
With the exception of building H8, windows have now been installed in all buildings. This means that the building envelopes are largely enclosed and the interiors are protected from the weather. At the same time, façade work continues to progress well, gradually revealing the future appearance of FröbelHöfe.
Work inside the buildings is also moving forward step by step. After initially focusing on Building 1, the interior fit-out has now reached Building 2.
A new stage of work has also begun in the underground car park, where the floor surfaces are being installed and the walls are being plastered.
Construction of the future green roofs has begun on the flat-roofed buildings. The sloped thermal insulation layer is currently being installed. This forms an important foundation for the remaining roof structure and ensures that rainwater can be properly directed towards the drainage outlets.
At a later stage, these areas will be transformed into green roofs, forming an important part of FröbelHöfe’s sustainable development concept.
There is also visible progress on the site of the second construction phase. Demolition of the old existing halls has already begun, while we await the building permit.
By clearing the site, we are already preparing the area for the next stage of development. Our goal is to break ground on FröbelHöfe II before the end of this year and begin the next chapter of the project.
