Dresden is one of the cities where cycling has long become an integral part of everyday life. The project will provide a total of 196 bicycle parking spaces distributed throughout the development and its immediate surroundings. An additional 19 spaces will be dedicated to bicycles with trailers, while two further bicycle stands will be located next to the future commercial unit on the ground floor. This ensures ample space for residents and visitors alike, whether they use conventional bicycles, cargo bikes or other forms of sustainable urban mobility.
To provide maximum security, two lockable bicycle storage rooms will be located within the underground garage. The project also includes generous space for bicycles and cargo bikes in the underground level. Additional bicycle stands will be installed in front of each residential building, making everyday cycling even more convenient.
Another major advantage of FröbelHöfe is its excellent location. Thanks to its direct connection to Dresden’s cycling network, residents can reach the city centre and other districts quickly and comfortably. After passing beneath the railway line, cyclists can reach the Kulturfabrik Dresden within just a few minutes. Dresden’s historic Old Town is also easily accessible by bicycle, offering numerous opportunities for both daily commuting and leisure rides.
